more animals

- Highly irritated that I dribbled cheeseburger grease on my new freaking work khakis, HISS!

- My cat is afraid of The Livingroom Floor. We are convinced that she thinks it's lava.

- I have no idea why I'm still up.

- My last show with The Mercury Tree is tomorrow night at The Hawthorne Theater, eightish. I had to do my best to not cry during our last practice evur, earlier today.

- I have no flipping idea why God invented the flea.... or what demonic force the flea evolved from, if you're not a creationist.

- (I'm not.)

- It's mid freaking September - why on EARTH are we having record breaking heat tomorrow through Easter? (Um.. give or take...)

- I had nightmares last night and couldn't remember what they were until this evening - I dreamed McCain/Palin won and what a massive panic it put my entire family into.

- Excited to see Tina Fey on SNL, yes, I am.

I posted a bit ago that I was done with the band thing, and while it was a difficult decision, I felt it was something I needed to do. I need to quit the band so that I can focus more on ME - I plan on working to get rid of the garnishment and head back to school to get that nursing degree.

I think I MIGHT play music in the future, if something to convenient and right presents itself, but for now...?

Try a can of diet coke in your laundry machine to get rid of the grease stain...

McCain/Palin is a nightmare to us ALL.

T-Fey was AMAZING, as I knew she would be.

I love Michael Phelps but I wish they'd put talented people with comedic timing who at LEAST went to a rehearsal or two before going live Saturday and dont have to read even their smallest lines off a cue card with a stone dead face.

End rant.

The more I see/read on Palin, the more I'm thinking that McCain is smacking himself in the head at his choice. I'm hoping that the majority of Americans can actually SEE what a feeble choice this is instead of making all sorts of oblivious excuses to support the Republican party.

I remember watching the Bush/Kerry debates and thinking "Omgosh, people HAVE to be coming to their senses when they hear what an idiot he is!" just to have my hopes dashed afterwards when they took phone interviews. SRSLY, the only leg they had to stand on against Kerry, it seems, was that he was "wishy washy". For the flip floppy issues he had, he even explained that different things need different decisions at different times, and his viewpoint changes due to things going on in life and around him. Hell, anyone with intelligence knows that each of our opinions - if we're a healthy individual - changes over time as we have more experiences, etc.

Wow. I guess I am still a bit bitter over the last election.

No freaking doubt! I miss being able to layer a ton of clothing on and wear tons of hats and scarves!!

Not that I know where my hats and scarves ARE, but this is supposed to be rectified when I am finally on vacation next week.

That Fey-as-Palin skit was spot-on. I loved Amy Poehler's Hilary doing a slow burn.

Fleas. Ugh. Fleas and gnats are beyond worthless.

Absolutely freaking agreed. For awhile there, we were inundated with both in our house, GRAR. I mean, srsly, fleas are on the top of the food chain - I'm feeling nothing eats THEM, and they eat us.. thustly, they're #1.

The jerks.

OOOooooOOOOooo! Good to know! I also heard that they hate cedar.. PetSmart recommended I buy a $5 giant bag of cedar from them and make little pillows to lay around the house.

Oh how I love lavender - I used to hate it, but seem to like it more and more as I age.
