I came to leave you this.

Sinus pressure is keeeeelling me.

Tummy is extremely fragile, though I haven't, um... voided explosively out of either end yet, unlike my unfortunate coworkers.

I go through periods where I swear it feels as if every window in the house is open to the winter air.

So I decided to reward my tummy with sweet beets. I had never cooked beets before, so I was quite surprised to see that it takes approximately 14.35 weeks to cook a pot of them. The vinegar smell is horrid, but they're VERY tasty.

I still need to figure out something to do with my rainbow chard and romaine lettuce before it goes south, but OOOOH, the effort.

I wish to curl into a ball and watch silly things on Netflix. Just as soon as Pride and Predjudice is over, though I have no clue as to what is going on as I was too busy boiling vinegar to watch.

look up recipes for Borscht if you have leftover beets. it might let you make use of the greens.
