road trip, anyone?

so, i go to bed last night (read: this morning), leaving my brother in here tippy tappying away at his keyboard. i wake up this morning to mom saying he left with his friend at about 7 this morning.

he calls me just now... from CANADA.

uh. yeah, that's a swing down the street. said he's going to be there until sunday night.

so, i guess this means we're not going out tonight?!?

i think it truly depends upon if they are from northern or southern cali.

the ones i saw in southern cali were VERY overcrowded, muddy, and horrendous looking.

the ones i saw in northern cali, they had all the green hilly grass to roam upon that they cold possibly ever need.

hrm. wonder which one produces the most u.s. meat?!?

Re:
I think the ones in northern cali are dairy cows.. they also are used to make the whole Gilroy area smell like cow crap.

If no one smelled the cow poo, they wouldnt know they were in Gilroy and they would pass it on the freeway.

lmao.

that's what i always felt about longview, where we grew up. for a smallish town, it has SOOOO many industrial parks, so we call it 'longpew'

Re:
HAHAHA yeah or the smell of sulfer.. yuck..

I don't know why small towns smell the worst because you would think all that lack of pollution, it would smell like roses and hay!

I thought Canada was just down the street.

as if by "down the street", you mean "the furthest point north you could get from where i'm currently standing (the south most point) and still be in the state of washington, then stepping across the border".

I've either had too much to drink, or not enough to drink, to understand what the hell you just said.

lol.. maybe i was the same in trying to describe it ;)

we live in SOUTHwestern washington state, just across the river from portland, oregon. vancouver BC is north of seattle, across the canadian border (of course).

so it's about a 5 or more hour drive to get there.

Canada, our mortal enemy
Perhaps he went to seek revenge for their distribution of "The Final Sacrifice", truly a crime against art and humanity in my book. A pop-up book to be sure, but still a book.

-CP, who got the Bantam book
