in watching Yosamite Sam and Sylvester cartoons this morning, i remembered when i was working at the Warner Bros. Studio Store in St. Paul, MN, and they had just came out with this. ..and how much i would get a lump in my throat because of the sorrow it portrayed.

it's funny how if you don't listen to a band that used to be your number one favorite band for a long time, when you finally get around to hearing either new stuff, or some of the really old stuff you hadn't thought about in a long time, it's almost as if the band had moved away, and you just came across old photos of back when you were together all the time, their music escorting you through life like a personal soundtrack.

i miss Sloan.

Peyton and I will be down at Mr. Lucky's later tonight to see a friend's band play (they're not country, as far as i know), it's on 43rd and indian school, i think... i'll be in a black and white striped turtle neck and my black leather jacket, no glasses.

and don't think of mugging me, i have no money.
