I am Strength
Strength represents patience and compassion. Getting angry is easy when events turn sour, but dealing calmly with frustration takes great strength. So does accepting others and forgiving mistakes. We need strength to mold situations softly. The Chariot controls through mastery and authority. Card 8 is more subtle, even loving. Notice how the lion (itself a symbol of strength) is being guided and tamed by the woman's gentle hands.

I think it depends upon the deck you're looking at/using, too, as from my personal deck and using the same formula, I came up with Justice,
as in Tarot of the Cat People,
Strength and Justice are switched. I can see aspects of myself in both, I suppose.
i used to be a lot more into all that was metaphysical. i had gotten the same tarot deck that i have today when i was 16: i have carried the same deck with me throughout every single one of my many moves, through all of my trials and tribulations. i've had so many possessions come and go during that time, but the deck remains with me, and in pristine condition. i used to use tarot as an insight into things, as a way to sort my thoughts out, i suppose. i have never let another person touch my deck. EVER. it is MINE. attuned to ME. i used to sleep with it under my pillow, so that it would be able to 'attune' itself better to my psychi and subconscious. :)
the cat people deck is also the only one that has ever 'spoken' to me. the art is beautiful.
i also love the booklet that it comes with that shows you WHY the pictures portray what they portray, and what the different aspects of each card symbolizes. (and those that know me know how much i love symbolization!)
nerdy alert: i see that they're going to have sneak peaks of the upcoming season of sci fi fridays this monday during the stargate eps, and i have to work. *sniffle* maybe my head cold will have reared it's full blown head by then? and no, we don't have tivo, and no we cannot set our vcr.
i also love that i can talk to Coworker Kyle for over 20 minutes about nothing but Final Fantasy. That durned world music from 9 has been going through my head all day.
