between George Dubya, Jerry Springer, and Ahnohd all being in office/running for office... and the little snafu of "JOIN BEHIND US! IRAQ WILL NUKE US ALL! heh heh.. or not..."

... i'm certain the U.S. is now the laughing stock of the rest of the world.

I have a feeling it's not "now" but "has been". That's okay, because we're all sinners according to good ol' boy G.W.

Gray Davis is going to try to put himself onto the new ballot. I find that a little funny. Who would I rather vote for though? Here are the choices that I know about:
Gray Davis (maybe)
Arnold
Larry Flynt

If I had to vote for one of those *grumble grumble* I would rather vote for Arnold.

a) has never lied about who he is and what he likes
b) won't censor the media.

that's what i've heard.

although now, with eons between my original post and my actual response, one would have to be deaf, dumb, blind, AND drunk to not know that...

true! true!

portland has forced the chief of police to resign since i've been here, but i can use the fact that vancouver is actually in washington as defense.

yes, i whole heartedly agree about dubya.

although part of me feels bad for jerry that no one could see past his show, so he dropped out of the running quite early.

Remember, Reagan was an actor before he became gov of California. Everyone liked him. Ahhhhnold can't be president though.. its unconstitutional.

Yes, according to the US Constitution, he could not run for president of the United States because he wasn't born here.

Article II of the Constitution says, "No Person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of president."

I'm afraid so. It's going mad. But Britain is pretty much the same, with our lick-ass Prime Minister driving us all crazy.
