but then i forget them completely by the time i get home.
hawt DAMN, johnny depp is still freaking AMAZING looking, even at 40. *fans self* yes. watching the aus-carz.
thoughts i've had just from the little bit that i've seen:
- you can tell a lot about an actor by their response when being talked about and placed on the screen... when they announced who the contenders were for best actor...
Johnny Depp: talking to someone like two or three seats down from him, back turned to the camera. when he discovers he's on 'tv', he giggles and turns all cute and shy...
Ben Kingsley: smiles nicely at the camera.
Jude Law: stares down his nose arrogantly at the crowd, rubbing his fingertips on each side of his chin.
Bill Murray: makes silly faces and rolls his eyes at himself.
Sean Penn: looks on angrily.
- when Sean Penn won, i was actually pleasantly surprised to see him give credit to the other actors in the same category, saying that it's silly to actually win such a thing, because there is no such thing as "best actor".
- it's cute to see all the hobbits together in normal attire (if you can call their hair styles normal lol) on the stage, with most of the others towering over them. i wanna pinch their cheeks. cept i think that Elijah Wood really would burst into tears. (he always looks like he's ready to cry to me...)
- holy CRAP, Tim Robbins is TALL.
mom said that this was the funniest Aus-carz that she's ever seen... i missed almost all of it though, silly work.
and Meredith will be here in a week and a half. i'm SO excited to get to see one of my old phoenix friends. the only one i've seen since i moved up here was Peyton (who stopped by, installed mom's air conditioning, then took me out to breakfast..)
and so my birthday is in like 3 weeks. it's on a friday. i was wondering who in the world would actually show to my party, should i have one....
