so, since i've been getting complaints that i havent' updated this thing, i supposed i can schlupp something down here for your reading pleasure. well maybe not pleasure, because what i have to say may offend you. maybe you'll be tickled pink and find it amusing? maybe you think my breath smells.. possibly you don't like my font.

okay, i'm rambling.. i had so very little sleep last night, and while i'm all for the ethical treatment of aminals and all, i wanted so very badly to crawl through my window, out into the gigantic hawthorne tree outside, and strangle the HELL out of that squawking bird. you'll find it hard to sing for a mate, buddy, with a broken trachea.

my wisdom tooth seems to be angry at me. this is day 4 of a throbbing, evil pain on the left bottom side of my mouth. it was at first accompanied by an odd canker sore on the other side of my mouth, which made my mouth a very unhappy place to be. that evil thing is gone, just leaving the evil throbby ness that is my left lower wisdom tooth of DOOM. doomy doom, even. so i apologize to those around me RL if i've been bitchy. at least i had two of those days off work.

what the HELL is up with this 100 degree weather?!?!? um, i thought that was a perk of moving AWAY from arizona? (located approximately 5 miles from the center of the sun, i'll have you know.) we need to invest in a fan, and i desperately need a car. i may have a truck in the works, an old dodgewhatsit, from a coworker, runs, for $200. i'm not rushing her, though, as she has other things she needs to take care of (like oh, her mother being in the hospital with internal bleeding...), so whenever she has some free time... it's just days like this where the lazy wench in me SO doesn't want to walk a half hour to work out in .... THAT. maybe i'll call a cab.

that's what i've been saying about the weather!!! everyone thinks it's soooo wonderful but i keep saying if i wanted it to be so hot i'd move south!

i like typical washington weather thank you. i get cranky when it's too hot and i have to ride a bus with no air conditioning for an hour after work. it's icky.

yes. public transportation is icky enough as it is, let alone SWEATY public transportation!

just reading it makes me want to go bathe!

i bus every day to and from work, so that's 2 almost 3 hours of my day....

and heat + mass transit = hell
Sep. 12th, 2004 07:25 am (UTC)
no, i think heat + mass transit = highway to hell.

heat + mass transit + random people coughing on you = hell.
Sep. 12th, 2004 11:55 am (UTC)
good points! though:

heat + mass transit + someone threw up on the back of the bus = inner circle of hell

I didn't even know it got that hot in Washington. We're at 95...and I'm in Nevada.

Of course, that's Northern Nevada...Las Vegas is supposed to hit 113 today.

This is why God created Air Conditioning. I hope you get that truck soon.

Washington, at least western washington, almost NEVER gets that high, which is why NO ONE here has air conditioning, and why it's always a gigantos thing when it DOES hit that hot.

and the lady with the truck may end up giving it to her nephew instead. *sigh*

She lives!

depending upon the day.

you'll like it.
i promise it will get colder. even if i have to unleash the endless amount of frost that powers my soul, i will.

Re: you'll like it.
every day it's a high under 80 degrees, i thank my stars.
Aug. 12th, 2004 04:37 am (UTC)
I was starting to wonder what happened to you.

It will get cold there soon enough.

$200 for a truck sounds like a good deal, as long as it passes smog and is reliable for at least short distances.

well, she may end up giving the truck to her nephew, so i'm not counting on anything. my brother had wanted to put his car in my name so i could have a car, since he doesn't have a license, but people kept talking us out of it, because it would cause trouble down the road.

so i'm still carless, and now my tax return is gone. blargh.

Hm. Heat AND humidity. No thanks :)
Sep. 10th, 2004 08:13 pm (UTC)
that was MY opinion on the matter, but geez, we don't even own a FAN, let alone air conditioning, so it was HELL.

if i had a car, i would go to places like target and snag up a ton of the clearanced fans so i will be SO prepared for next years heat wave!
