it's what happens when a shimmy and a shake love each other very much and meld into one.

actually.. their wiggly website can be found here

Wiggles are very frightening creatures. I think the only part that doesn't scare me is the pirate man.

And I think they're Australian, actually?

eek. my faux pas.

Don't make fun of the wiggles....they're very cool if you're under the age of 6! My boys LOVE them (ages: 3 1/2 years and 9 months).

On a side note...I personally find them to be the most retarded men they could find to jump around and act silly, but then again not many men would be WILLING to jump around and act silly/stupid so I guess they got what they could find.

I know a few men that would be willing to do the jumping around and acting silly...for pay.

I'd do it, surely.

i do confess that i've seen their live stuff during an ep or so that i watched, and it seemed like an absolutely wonderful thing to take a kid to.

i also like that, in comparison to like the blues clues tour and stuff like that, the actual guys are there, and not some look alike castoff.

and i imagine that if i got paid as much as they do, i would jump around like an idiot, too.

they are Aussie.

aha. sorry, i couldn't pay too close attention to their accents through all of my laughing.

I believe some of them are married, if not all of them! I've gotten to experience the wiggles with my friend's 3 yo-fun stuff I tell ya!

can you imagine talking to an old high school friend:

"so, how have you beeeeeen?"
"good, i'm now married!"
"oh, really? what does your husband do?"
"dances with pompoms for money on television!"

they are one of those shows that i refused to let my son get into. just like barney. each show he's watched a few but for the most part i would not let him watch either. creepy.
but boobah takes the cake for strangest children's show i think.

i think i would let my kids (if i ever get around to procreating, that is) watch The Wiggles over Barney or Teletubbies any old day.

though i would have to not be in the room when it happened, i'm sure my loud laughter would take away from the childlike wonder.

Actually, they're AUSTRALIAN and they're all married. I think several have kids. Believe it or not, they're incredible in concert -- I had to go with my goddaughter and her mom 3 years ago and I actually enjoyed myself. They ROCK. (And Anthony is a hottie)

wow. i am proven wrong and evil then ;) seems to be the general consensus that whenever someone sees them live, that they're converts for life :)
