eek, i had INTENDED to wake up early enough in order to scour livejournal for bits and pieces of last nights debate, but nooOOOOooo, i'm a sleepy head that got 2/3 the way through her laundry, meaning: i did it all, but now it's sitting in indescriminate piles, and i have the quest of FINDING MY WORK CLOTHES in it. well, luckily, i've found most of it, but still. and then my HAIR. *screams in terror*

had GREAT fun yesterday, it was wonderful having chris around and getting to hang with him for the first time in YEARS. we spoke geek speak (read: video games) ate fantasmic steak, played hoopla, and watched zim (he had never seen before. he is now a believer.)

woke up this morning, hearing about rodney dangerfield dying yesterday, hit the sleeper alarm and fell asleep, dreaming i went to his website and posted something about who i am today, i am because of that man, and how i'll miss him. O_O. okay, i could barely sit through one of his comedic routines, let alone think of him as my LIFE MENTOR. i have respect for him, and am sad that he died, but that's about it.

anyhoo. i need to go to work. stat.

his guest spot on the simpsons as mr. burns son was perfection. though i agree i never sat through most of his other comedy.

also i did not watch the debate, i guess i was too busy being brain washed by farenheit 9/11 d=
Oct. 10th, 2004 12:18 am (UTC)
i finally finished downloading that movie, i should really watch it.
Oct. 10th, 2004 06:57 am (UTC)
kinda interesting, kinda frustraing.
Oct. 10th, 2004 07:45 pm (UTC)
most things involving the u.s. government are frustrating.
Oct. 10th, 2004 07:55 pm (UTC)
indeed, most = all.
Oct. 10th, 2004 08:16 pm (UTC)
and thats just the stuff that we KNOW about.
Oct. 10th, 2004 08:22 pm (UTC)
i know! they probably started up a plan to actually try and mutate animals into ninja animals like the TMNTs!
Oct. 10th, 2004 08:33 pm (UTC)
oh, i'm sure that there's some underground lair where mutated animals and humans have been inhumanely kept in cages for YEEEEARS. i watched The Brain That Wouldn't Die. i KNOW.
Oct. 10th, 2004 08:42 pm (UTC)
THE BRAIN. garsh i haven't seen that in YEARS.
Oct. 10th, 2004 08:45 pm (UTC)
i have a copy of it here, i'm certain.

i so need to get into my mst3k watching kick again. i'll obsessively watch it for a few weeks, then not watch a single one for months.

i'm dying to see Boggy Creek again, and i still have a Godzilla one on my computer i haven't watched yet.
Oct. 10th, 2004 09:05 pm (UTC)
i need to pick up more old sci fi. i almost got a double buy of soylent green and something else i don't remember. i got the season four of the simpsons instead though.

i do that with alot of things. games i play. what i read and watch. i hadn't read in months and i just finished american gods by neil gaiman in five days.

i've been wanting to se mst3k again for awhile, but alas i have NONE *sob*
May. 10th, 2005 06:46 pm (UTC)
i still have yet to go on another mst3k kick, which is sad, i don't think that i've ever gone this long w/o partaking!!!

i'm sad that a lot of my eps on dvd i left in phoenix, waiting to get shipped up to me, and i don't think i'll ever get ANY of that stuff back.

May. 10th, 2005 07:15 pm (UTC)
Likewise! It's horrid.

that is sad, my friend is in a similar situation with a good portion of his belongings still being down in Oregon.
Feb. 18th, 2006 07:06 pm (UTC)
Thanks to bittorrent and thepiratebay.org, i now have the entire FIRST SEASON of mst in my clutches.

granted, i haven't watched more than the first 10 minutes of the very first episode, but it's MINE.

once i stop downloading all the other things that I SO DESPERATELY NEED OH MY GAW, i shall start grabbing the other seasons, too.

but right now, stargate and buffy and 24 seem a bit top priority to me.
Feb. 19th, 2006 02:38 pm (UTC)
oh maaaan, i just finally have got into 24. i was skeptical about it at first because i'm always weirdly skeptical about something I keep hearing "OMG YOU MUST SEE IT"
Nov. 8th, 2006 02:49 am (UTC)
it was always the same for alias and lost and battlestar galactica, too, and now heroes, though i've actually seen a few eps of that. i keep forbidding myself to watch more, because i keep missing very important episodes, and i hate having episodes i haven't seen ruined for me by later ones.
Nov. 9th, 2006 11:39 am (UTC)
Oh I KNOW what you mean about catching stuff you missed in later episodes. it annoys me so much I actually won't get into a show after a certain point.
Oct. 7th, 2004 06:07 pm (UTC)
I as well missed the debate, I end up going to a special opening for my BFs work, uhh its like a grand opening for friends and family first, and we got 20% off.... HEY!! I want some 'fantasmic steak' !
Oct. 10th, 2004 12:30 am (UTC)
can't say that i blame you! i would rather have been doing that than....

well, having chris in town did make my entire month...
