We tried to put collars on our cats.

the first one we ended up taking the collor off because she got some form of skin problem (a large swatch of her fur came off), and the other one chewed it off.

i suppose that it didn't help that we bought a dog collar for her because all the cat ones were dumb or the wrong color (we need to get something to match our little foo foo's calico fur!), so we had to punch new holes in it, because even the smallest dog collar was still too giant for Bacci.

she's a bit happier with it now because it means she gets to go outside on occasion.

almost as funny as putting dog clothes on them.

and a merry (LATE) response to you!

no problem :) i wish i was more organized so i could send people more things more often. i love randomness (surprise!) and i know the joy that i feel whenever i open my mailbox and find something that isn't an angry bill.

From the stories I've heard about your cat so far, I highly doubt there was any humor in this...

PS: As it has completely slipped my mind to tell you this sooner, thank you very much for the Christmas card! And a merry (LATE) Christmas to you, too! :)

I tried to collar my cats. They went so apeshit that I was seriously concerned they would strangle themselves with it and die. They won that battle. But they compromise by not peeing on my bed. I still have a little authority.

did you end up bringing your kitties up with you? i don't remember...

and yes, i would happily NOT collar the cat if it meant she didn't pee anywhere. thank goodness, we don't have to make that decision. the only ick she leaves for us is the occasional vomit trail.

if she was human, we could swear she was bulemic.

We tried that just before Christmas withour new kitten. he tried to bite it off, and got it stuck in his mouth. Talk about hilarity....

ha ha, i can almost see it.

i also LOVE the logic that they think that they can back out of a collar, racing all over the living room in reverse.
