Nothing, you whore! Do stuff!

i would have added Xenosaga and FF X-2 to the list, but, alas, i CAN'T FIND THE FREAKING DISCS!

IX is good. Of course I'm going to say that since I'm in the middle of it now. *grins*

Pity I don't know of a way to copy disks or something. If anything else I'd let you borrow X-2. I'm not playing it yet and it's just sitting there.

i got as far as rescuing Garnet from the big plant thing at the very beginning in the Evil Forest before i got bored and turned it off. i so hate having to get through the beginnings of games and having to WORK to get it to a place where it gets fun, a la Vii and toiling to get out of freaking Midgar and be able to run round the world map like a crazed muppet. one big reason why i was so angry when the cat broke my memory card that i had been playing on for SIX YEARS.

Ouch. That hurts. I've got several games here but very little time in which to play them. If I lived in Vancouver I'd tranfer to the new Hazeldell store and walk to work. As it is I'm gone a good ten to twelve hours a day just to work eight.

I'd say that I need a vacation but I'm already on a four day one. *L*

aah, hazeldell. whenever people talk about vancouver, i ALWAYS automatically think that they figure i'm in canada ;)

ouch on the transport time! did you have to get a second mortgage or sign over a firstborn for gas money?

*L* I used to go to Cafe Pacific, before it closed. Heather Alexander use to perform there. I'm not in Vancouver often but I do know where it is. I'd better, considering that my store is in Jantzen Beach. *L*

Nope. I use MAX. It takes about 90 minutes to get to work. I don't have to deal with the four to five bills that come with a car so it's a decent trade off. I do wish I lived closer to work though. Washington sounds good for a place to work and live. Can we say no income tax? *grins*

i'm DUMB. apparantly.
*gapes* why on earth did it not register until NOW that you live in my area? doy. and do you work at depot? holy moly, i need to be on livejournal more!

yeah, whenever i'm in p-town, i always feel so much at HOME. i've lived so many places and i've never gotten CLOSE to that feeling of being at home that i do when i'm in downtown portland. i feel like i can almost SEE it. but i would never live there because of the taxes. sad, really.

Re: i'm DUMB. apparantly.
Ummm....I don't know. I kind of wondered why you just didn't drop by my store and harass me for working for the competition. *impish grin*

*nods* Vancouver is a good compromise though. Trimet and MAX can take you anywhere.

Re: i'm DUMB. apparantly.
as i'm discovering. i'm SLOWLY overcoming my giant fear of portland public transit, although i've only ridden it twice and my second time i missed my stop and ended up LOST.

thank goodness for nearby oatmeals.

Re: i'm DUMB. apparantly.
Portland's not too bad when it comes to Mass Transit. California Mass Transit? Now there's something to fear. *shudders*

also, that's one of the biggest reasons why i haven't gotten a car, either: i don't want to deal with extra expenses, especially since i am honestly happy not having a car. it's better for the environment, it supports our public transportation, and i get much more exercise that way!
May. 19th, 2005 08:37 pm (UTC)
Let's here it for exercise! *grins* If it wasn't for Mass Transit my sister's meals would be the death of me.

hee hee that's how i feel about my walks to school/work and my 20 lb backpack.

though methinks that my backpack will be the death of my spine.

Sounds like a perfect reason for coffee. Can we say back popping hug? *grins*
