not as hungover this morning as i thought i was going to be - HUZZAH! contrary to how it sounds, we didn't have a giant party, it was only tefen and a bunch of beer. the more i talk to that boy, the more i'm convinced we're twins. it's eerie:

both lived in phoenix around 1995 on.
both worked at officemax.
both worked at michaels.
both worked at wal*mart.
both are older than our friends.
both have brown hair.
we've both partied with alicenwndrln, though she lives in l.a. this was discovered last night when we yelled in unison that we, too, had a friend on www.imdb.com.

anyhoo. i'm rambling this morning. my head is cloudy from the whopping 2 beers and half a shot of tequila i had. oh, and the half a glass i downed of andrea's drink "would you like a sip?" "WOULD I!!!?" *gulp gulp gulp*

the more it happens, the more i'm really liking having people over. it's weird: in phoenix, i was a massive recluse, i hated having anyone over at any given time, i would prefer to go meet YOU, thankyouverymuch. and if you stopped by without calling first? yeah. i wouldn't answer the door. neveryoumind that my jeep is parked RIGHT THERE. i could be sleeping! i could be bathing! i could be dead on my kitchen floor! it's interesting to know that i'm getting past this massive anxiety. i want people over. i'm a HORRIBLE hostess, really, which is why i'm happy that faetal is so much better at that sort of thing. but i'm still really liking being able to be social, and still be in the comfort of my own home. maybe this stems from not having a car, and when going out to do the whole social bizness, i'm at the driver's mercy as to when we leave or where we go. but at hoooooOOOOoome... i can go to bed if i don't like it! woo! (this has yet to happen, btw.)

meanwhile, i really need to get over my anxiety of playing guitar in front of others, even if i'm just practicing.

How do you know you are a bad hostest? I think thats impossible for you but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. You don't just open the door say hey then get back on the computer or stare into the TV do you? Anywho that great, I have to get over my new unwilling quiet phase to even think about having people over, I can't talk on the phone or IM if someone else doesn't lead. Heh, lead, made me think of dancing gosh would I love to just fine someone and dance silly right about now

Yeah you really do have to get overnot playing infront of people because it can really be a nice party thing. even if you are bad (which I bet you aren't) it can be fun for everyone. Sing alongs and sing alongs+ are super fun, what the plus? well I do this all the time; sing along plus is just in a nut shell your chance to be weird al. Use your own lyrics and parody of the song just because! So like say the end to Mr. Bright side, where he keeps repeating the word over and over well I change that word to viagra! and with hand gestures (as if you are calling out for it) super funny!

However i can forgive you for not getting for that for a bit longer (yeah right like I count)If you... find those demos and let me hear some :P You though i forgot didn't you!

ha ha, i DO get distracted by my computer or the television easily! and i never think to offer the guests anything, and will generally say something crass like 'beer is in the fridge, help yourself.'

I was speaking of my... aquitance Tim, who by the way I have him and his family to thank for my bad knee (woot), he would open the door maybe say hey and just walk off. This guy wasn't really like super social you know it wasn't like he could tell me there was something in the fridge I'd feel frind grabbing it and plop down next to em and start a conversation. Nah I still you've got the whole buddy host thing going, where you home is theirs and all.

So... you are still a good host in my book :P
