so it suddenly occured to us all that we have armloads of beer and alcohol here. while i'm growing weary of being DUHRUNK, i'm still for having a couple few people over for silly board games. tonight? mayhaps. saturday? mayhaps again/instead. call/text me if you're free either night and interested. saturday would probably be a lot less low-key than tonight... if we did anything tonight (and i'm not saying we ARE), it would probably be so low key that we'd be in pajamas. so feel free to bring those, too.

i so don't want to work for the next EIGHT DAYS. *sigh*

i'm wearing a tuxedo shirt.. because i CAN.

accomplished nothing today, per usual.

maybe one of these days we'll actually clean our home and actually buy furniture, so we can actually have people over.

I like tuxedo shirts. They're fun.

I used to have to wear them with a long black skirt for high school choir. ...and a stupid red sash. Now they where these horrid plain black dresses that do no one justice.

Umm...so yeah.

i got my tuxedo shirt when i worked for hollywood video for two whole days back in '95. i'm surprised that with all my countless moves, i still have it.

yes, i worked for hollywood video back in the days that you had to wear the tuxedo shirt and cumberbund instead of the polo shirts they wear now.

I want to pluck your brain for a cruise ship question instead of doing actual research. because I'm that lazy, and you were an i.c.e. gallery goddess!

if a cruise ship has a us registry, does that make it like american soil? or, what if it's in us waters? say you take a cruise to mexico and come under suspicion of stealing or something. can another government board the ship to take you into custody, or would the ship flying under the us flag be enough to provide sanctuary?
this is for something at work. nothing to do with people being seized on cruise ships. I just need to know if a cruise ship is considered american territory

i know this response is WAY late to probably do you any good, but no matter where you are, the SECOND you set FOOT on the ship, you are suddenly considered in the country that the ship is registered in. for example, climbing aboard a carnival cruise ship, the second your foot leaves 'soil', you're considered in panama, although you're still actually in los angeles.

which is another reason why travel insurance is oh so important, it helps to protect you under those circumstances.

That sounds like fun. I used to play board games with Blair but we never drank while playing.
