so. much. pain.

i despterately need to see a chiropractor, a massively painful crick in the neck for three weeks is entirely too long. or i need drugs. i'd settle for a rice bag RIGHT NOW, but i have no idea where in this house there would be one.

Bacci has been very codependant with me lately. it kinda freaks me out. i bet she's going to have a heartattack when the roommies move. she freaks out horribly whenever we even clean or slightly move things around, let alone REMOVE 3/4 of it.

:( I've been having back/neck problems, too. I'm scared shitless of chiropractors, though... I just can't imagine trusting someone to crack my bones.

If you really want to see a chiropractor, you should watch the "Penn & Teller's Bullshit" episode about chiropractors first...! I say see a massage therapist instead. Maybe one who does Reiki too.

meh, i've checked out both the pros and cons of chiropractic care. i do know that i felt better after going (though i still haven't gone since i moved here.) alternative medicine has always interested me, too, which i may check out one day after i actually have benefits or actually have money (read: after i get my bachelors and a job.)

that woman is weird. how can you freak out when someone clean up around the place?
that problem i had with people was that they DIDNT clean up.

weird, my back has been hurting since 6th grade. i tried living with the pain... but it is getting too much for me. i need to see a chiropractor as well.

i've always had back/neck problems, tried massage therapy, but i've never found massage therapy to get pinched nerves out (which is what this feels like, as if my spine is BITING my neck muscles) i used to go all the time in phoenix, but haven't in the two and a half years that i've been up here.

because of my laziness, i hadn't wanted to again, but it's to the point where it's starting to disturb my sleep, it hurts so bad. i can't sit for long periods of time... the intensity comes and goes, but it's definitely HERE today.

oh, and by Bacci, i mean our cat, not a woman ;)

o, i was like what the fuck, that woman is crazy... ok. now i know.

i havent sleep good since then as well. and then marine crops didnt really help that out. it takes me so long to go to sleep, lucky for me my girl goes to sleep quickly. if she didnt we would have a big problem cause i toss and turn for about 4 hours.

I've been going to a chiropractor for 5.5 years now. This service has been TREMENDOUS in my pain management. Very rarely do I get headaches that require me to take aspirin (maybe a few times a year), my neck doesn't need cracking all the time, and my lower back doesn't scream so loudly in pain when Aunt Flo comes a knockin'. In addition, I find I don't get sick as often as I used to.

I think some chiropractors might pimp out their services as "all-curing", but chiropractic is super good for pain management and health maintenance, but not for the whole health picture.

Oh, and my chiropractor doesn't use the "twist tie" method to crack your bones, he uses a metal rod at different points of my back to adjust me. The procedure is virtually painless and I feel results right away.

I would definitely recommend chiropractic to anyone. Individual results may vary, but I definitely would recommend chiropractic.

that's pretty much how i feel. i have... well, not SEVERE scoliosis, but a true S shape in my spine, and when you look at an x-ray of my spine, you can see that every single one of my vertabrae other than the top four or so, are twisted. this results in my right shoulder blade sticking out further than my left. in the doctors that i've seen, all say that i HAVE TO DO SOMETHING NOW, or i WILL be handicapped by the time i'm 35. well, i'm 31 now, and other than some occasional severe kinks here and there... *shrug* i'm certain that the fact i'm 215 lbs and aging and sleeping on the floor doesn't help ;)

I was asked what out of my chracter I want to do and I couldn't give an answer for technical reasons but I guess this counts. I always wanted to go to massage theripy school for a while now. I was quit upset whenTy didn't like my massages the way I give them but meh.

I dunno if its the whole helping thing in me but I though it would be cool to say I'm a graduated licenesed massage theripst!
