so i woke up at 800 this morning, in pain. BAD, ANGRY pain eminated from my lower region, so i figured that either 1) i had to do one hell of a dookie, or 2) the red gremlins are at it again for their monthly visit.

i went to the bathroom. well, if you must know, it was both, really. but after both were taken care of, the pain did not lessen any. it increased tenfold.

now. i've been having my periods for *thinks* almost twenty years now. (yes, i started early.) cramping has always reared its ugly head, almost every single month. i remember the pain being significantly worse when i was around 17 years old or so, but then just becoming a great discomfort.

nothing like THIS. i seriously thought i was DYING. all i could do is lay in bed and gasp for air and try not to cry or vomit. i don't think i have EVER felt pain this bad in my entire LIFE, and i've smashed some fingers, stepped on a nail, ripped nails OFF. repeating any of those would be VERY much more prefered than even HALF of the pain i was experiencing this morning. I debated knocking on my brother's bedroom door to see if Daniel was still there so that i could go to the hospital, it was so bad. and it wasn't even just my stupid uterus, it was also the small of my back, it felt as if someone had punched me right in the spine.

what on earth would CAUSE this?!? is it because i'm getting old?!?

i finally fell back to sleep and slept until after 2 pm, something i never do. it's a bit uncomfortable at the moment, but not painful. what on earth do i do if it comes BACK?!?

and thank the Powers That Be for at least allowing this to happen on a day off. I probably would have sobbed to a manager and begged them to take me to the hospital otherwise. And for someone who has no insurance? That's a Big Pain.
