“Hello, this is a very tired Aubkabob. It is 1:30, I think. I don't know, I kind of lost track of time a while ago. I'm still at work. They didn't have anyone to cover for the overnight shift, and the supervisors couldn't be by themselves so I volunteered, so by the time I get home I will be working for almost 24 hours straight. Hah! Take that. My feet hurt. (something I didn't catch) And I am currently taking my second lunch at Office Max. I've only been here since 3:30. So if you had ever any doubt that I was a workaholic before this, yeah, I showed you. Anywho. There's nothing to do, there's nothing on tv, so I figured I would call and.. So it's been, anyway, I don't know if anyone listens to these things anymore. I listen to yours half the time and half the time it's game over, but... And it's not because it's lack of loving you, because I luuuuv you, but... I think I am starting to get a little bit delirious. Yeah. I'm... Anyways, before this post gets any weirder, I'm gonna let you go so I can eat my chili. 'Kay. Buh-bye.”

Holy schnozberries that is the most awesome, horrible thing ever! Go sleep for 24 hours when you get off work.

Thanks, I love you too. Ya know, for some reason you sounded really sincere and it cracked me up. Sincere, I suppose, in a highly delirious kind of way.
What kind of OVERTIME do you make for working 24 hours in a day?
I thought I was a badass for working 18 hours, ya know. Used to do that every once in a while at the restaurant.

Ah well. This deserves a crazy icon, I suppose.

no overtime, unfortunately, because of the fact that they were split between two jobs, and i hadn't been near 40 for the one i was at for about 14 hours. i'm still happy i did it, because it's cheesily exciting to say that i had done so.

I've never transcribed a phone post, before, but I've also never been challenged on whether or not I listen to them, either. At least not that I've ever heard. Maybe because I don't listen to them.
Either way, the last time I worked 24 hours straight, I was actually up and doing things and moving around quite vigorously the whole time, at a pizza restaurant, and as soon as I had a break to sit down and do some paperwork, I passed out with my face right on top of it. They left me there for a while, so my 25th hour of work was actually me being paid to nap. And then I woke up with some accounting tattooed on my forehead. It was great. :D
So, I'm just sayin', get up and move around, even if it's goofing off. It'll help when you finally get to rest if you're already exhausted, too.

ha ha, that's so awesome. my second part of my second shift was doing freight so luckily i DID have to just keep plowing through things and lifting lifting lifting!

thank you for transcribing that!

I listen to most of them, sooner or later. Wow, that is some serious overtime there! You really need to catch up on sleep after that.

That's the first of yours I ever listened to (confession time) and the first and only time I heard your voice since our own one sacred phone call ages ago (a transcription of which now sitteth in the Victoria and Albert Museum). Love you, 'Bobs.

I _usually_ listen.

Happy New Years!
