and now my Aunt Sophie has lung cancer.

and mom goes in for additional testing because they think she may have colon cancer. (which is what her mother died from at age 59.)

and the world continues to turn.

edit: after seeing her myspace pictures, i HAD sat not three feet from her on the bus, just hours before she was killed.

fuck, i don't want to go to work today. from looking at my phone, seems they tried to call me in early, too. they can go suck an egg.

I hope your mother is OK, and your aunt's lung cancer is treatable

they've only determined so far that she's SEVERELY anemic, which may mean she's bleeding from somewhere, and ... something to do with the colon.

my brain is frazzled right now, and if i don't leave practically this instant, i shall be late to work.

freaking work.

but missing work and not having money to pay my bills will not help anything. and did i mention that i also overdrafted my bank account already? the hell?!?

Thank you.

Oddly, it was my Aunt Sophie's husband, Robert John, that passed away last Thursday. Sophie is thankfully in remission.

Better they get tested now and nip it in the bud than wait years and years until it's inoperable. Courage to all of you.

i agree. aunt sophie is still hard at battling it,it comes and goes in its severity, of course. mom FINALLY got tested for colon cancer recently - they found some polyps but don't think it's serious, so at least the testing is OVER.
