summer classes are registered for!!!

and hooo-boy, is it going to be brutal.

monday and wednesday, i have Medical Vocabulary with Lasher from 8 - 950.
tuesday and thursday, i have Public Speaking with Anderson from 9 - 950.
monday through thursday, i have Chem 050 with Broers from 10 - 1125.
monday through thursday, i have Math 095 with Kaskowitz from 1130 - 1250.

wow, i'm going to be a starvating puppy by the time i get out of there. then i may have about 2 - 3 hours between school and work, which includes a 30 min bus ride. and i'm trying not to dwell on my spine and how it shall crumble under the weight of the books. as it is, i can almost never carry both my psych and math books together. hrm, wonder how much my backpack weighs with both?

and will five minutes be enough time to get from the sci building to the math building? where IS the sci building? hrm. after looking at a map, it isn't TOO far away, but sheesh. when will i be able to pee?!? maybe i should reconsider matters here...

edit: i decided to drop the public speaking one - i really don't feel like doing that one yet, anyway. and although it won't help me with having only 5 min between chem and math (i think my head will esplode from all the smarts from those!), it will keep things a bit sane. besides, after dropping it, i have 12 credits, still, which is considered 'full time', which is what i'm getting the grants and all that other stuff for.

egads, it sucks that summer schedules are so cramped because they're trying to squish what few classes they have into such a tiny amount of time. i've also never dealt with -yet- not having a class that was mon-fri.

couldn't sleep worth anything last night, so i woke up NATURALLY at 4 freaking a.m. - NOT COOL, YO. i don't even have any coffee in the house. granted, i HAD originally planned on going to school mighty early to study for my psych exam and do my math homework, but sheesh, this is overkill.

I used to put a brick of ramen in my backpack to eat between classes. I would break a piece off (hard) and chew it as a snack. Ramen-o-licious.

What are you talking about 4AM your time is 7AM my time, slacker. I am up at 5AM...

If you don't have access to coffee, you can always try an energy drink like Ballz or Red Bull.

They really launch you into a blitz.

I've discovered that as long as I can get my caffeine addiction down to where I only need a cup of tea or so instead of a ton of coffee... I'm much happier overall (and so is my stomach lining!) I would like to eventually get rid of all caffeine in my diet and go completely natural on MANY levels, but one step at a time is good! :D

I used to live off of the energy drinks when I lived in Phoenix years ago. Occasionally, I'll drink one of the sugar free versions of those, but it's rare. I would rather get my caffeine from tea.

Meh, I never really enjoy the summer anyway, as I hate the heat, don't own any fans or air conditioning, and hate direct sunlight ^_^

I am the KING of summer courses. Sure, they kind of suck because you are SO busy...but they get over SO fast. I would do an entire year's sequence of classes in 11 weeks. Sure, it was a hellish 11 weeks and would eat up a summer...but in the end, it was worth it. They don't waste your time by giving you pointless crap to learn, PLUS...you actually learn the material since you see it nearly every day.

I, on the other hand, have finals approaching. Six exams in two weeks (two per class). Added up is worth 45% of my grade, in each class. Oh yeah, no pressure there.

Busy busy miss Aubrey! Living the life of a student. I'm so happy for you! I'm just not sure whether I envy you or not? I do in the fact that you are getting somewhere, but not so much in the fact that you are going to be so busy now.
