Broadway showtunes (from Jekyll & Hyde and the Assassins)

Both good shows. Of course I was a Broadway/classical radio DJ
for years so I'm biased. Do you have the newer J&H or the
original Colm Wilkinson version? Broadway brings out the nosy
in me.

I like Colms version of This is the moment off of the
1990 highlights but I was grateful for the Hyde songs
on the 1994 set. I still have the original Assassins
release and have not heard the revival.

I recently got a 1GB flash mp3 player that's very portable. I
grabbed a lot of my older music and took a song or two from
many of my old albums. I have been feeling strangely folksy
lately so I have been throwing in some
donal hinely:

Dude, I SO know what you mean with the snot thing. And I *know* SNOT! remember our company mascot is a talking booger.

And I put together a CD with 3 songs on it the other day and it's been on repeat ever since then :-)
1. Breathe by Anna Nalic (<-- sp?)
2. Fields of Gold by Eva Cassidy
3. Breathe Me by Sia

Good stuff!

currently at this very moment: lords of acid - the crablouse is on my iTunes on shuffle. oh wait, it just changed to Primus - To Defy the Laws of Tradition. :P (I have about 15 GB of mp3s that shuffle all day while at work)

In general I have been listening to a lot of Echo & the Bunnymen, Glide, Ian McCulloch, Psychedelic Furs, and Richard Butler. I'm obsessive, I'm currently obsessed with the bunnymen. :P the new richard butler CD is fabulous though.

My listening habits at the moment:
A Queen mix CD (containing mostly their heavier early stuff)
An Enuff Z'Nuff mix CD
Jellyfish's 'Spilt Milk'
TNT's 'My Religion' and 'All The Way To The Sun'
Dream Theater's 'Octavarium'

...oh, and me. Lots of me.

I am supposed to pick up "!Bastardos!" by Blues Traveller later on, special order from my LOCAL (and locally owned) music store.

I'm right there with whoever asked about your nose giving birth... 'cept I say that if you have any tips, don't hesitate to share, cos my right sinus seems to be gestating or something, and I'm inches away from ripping my eye out...

Which I'm sure you, and everyone else here, were dying to know.

What'm I listening to lately? Hm...

No Doubt's Beacon Street Collection
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's Howl
Jimmy Buffett's Fruitcakes
Jackson Browne's Running On Empty

and some random stuff from Roy Orbison, Fishbone, Patsy Cline, Sublime, Sinead O'Connor, Aerosmith, Godsmack, and a bunch more that having on my computer would probably piss off the FCC. I made a point of downloading all the Metallica I could find, but I'm getting low on memory, so I'm sure that'll be the first to go!

I've been listening to a lot of Danny Michel lately, and I've also been playing a lot of motown & 60s soul/R&B.

THOUGH SHALT OBTAIN LIMEWIRE AND USE IT AT ONCE!!

Seriously, it's a great song, no matter who does it. I think Tori Amos did a cover of it as well. I should obtain the SLOOOOAN version, since it is my goal to obtain just about everything they do.
