Once upon a time, on a dark and stormy night (like they make any other kind in the Northwest) there was a beautiful princess who had a magic keytaur that let her play all the songs of OMD with the flick of a switch!*

Needless to say this made people really like her or really decide to go to Starbucks (you know, the one across the street) where tehy're playing world beat music. Which no one honestly LIKE likes, but no one finds offensive. It's kind of the musak of the '00s.) 'cos they just have to have a frap like NOW.

Anyway, one day ... um... something magical happened and the elves made her Queen of Office Supplies!

Yay!

The end.

*Am I the only one who finds the lyrics to "If you leave" kind of creepy co-dependent emotional blackmail?

LOVELY story!! :D

I totally find that song beyond creepy/borderline offensive, as well. Amazing how songs speak to you differently as you age.

Once upon a time there was an Aubrey. She was really cool but terribly busy and she had these friends who lived far away and missed her. Then she flew out to visit them, they all dyed their hair red and they lived happily ever after.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,

a tale of a fateful trip.

That started from this tropic port

aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was a mighty sailin' man,

the skipper brave and sure.

Five passengers set sail that day

for a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,

the tiny ship was tossed.

If not for the courage of the fearless crew,

the Minnow would be lost, the Minnow would be lost.

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
with Gilligan, the Skipper, too,
the Millionaire, and his Wife,
the Movie Star,
the Professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle.

Now this is the tale of our castaways,

they're here for a long, long time.

They'll have to make the best of things;

it's an uphill climb.

The first mate and his skipper, too,

will do their very best

to make the others comfortable

in a tropic island nest.

No phone, no lights, no motor cars,

not a single luxury.

Like Robinson Crusoe,

it's primitive as can be.

So join us here each week my friends,

you're sure to get a smile

from seven stranded castaways,

here on Gilligan's Isle.

[Thanks, IMDB.]

This girl I know she's sick for toys.
She needs a brand new toy, she's tired of her old toys.
She's got a big house full of old toys what can she do?
She disposes of her old toys and in a small garden she finds a small boy.
She smiles, she's happy she found her new toy a small boy.
She uses the new toy to watch her comb her hair, day in day out, night in night out.
In the end she fell asleep exhausted.
The boy cut off all of her hair, she was bald, she might not now be sick for toys...
