if i had worked anywhere else, or if i hadn't gotten to the point where i feel totally comfortable with my coworker peers (i am really very awkward and shy in person, contrary to what people may think), i would have died from humiliation this morning. apparently i missed the memo saying we were supposed to show up in full uniform, as they were taking pictures.
so every single one of my coworkers show up in navy shirts and khaki pants, and here i am with a green and white striped long-sleeved turtleneck with a bright green t-shirt over it, black stretchy pants and frog toe socks shoved into ghey flip flops.
awwww, yes.
i also found it quite funny that the only people that were on time were the closing crew: yancey, jeff, james, igor, and myself. you would think that out of all the shifts, the ones that work 3 - 11pm would be the hardest to get up, dressed, and at the store at 630 am on a sunday morning.
plans for the day? play xenogears and wait for the roomies to wake up so we can go meet andrea's baby. BAAAYBEEEE.
