at least i'll be able to pay bills next payday (and the monies i owe friends. i haven't forgotten you ben, i promise.) erm, rent, too.
day wasn't half bad, other than one coworker i wanted to strangle. i'm never abrupt or confrontational, but i can't count how many times i said "..... stop looming!" or "go away!" or "i didn't know that there were cameras in the manager's office!" (this person was supposed to be in cameras - the opposite corner of the store - handing out pull tags for the cameras on sale. impossible to do if he isn't even ON the floor. erm, him or her. i want to remain vague. *innocent whistle* i just really think that there is something mentally wrong with this, uh.. person. i feel for them, i do.
mostly had fun today, ran into only one or two cranky people. how DARE a woman have to wait in line at ALL on black friday? (all registers were open, and all registers only had one customer in it each. she flipped out for having to wait, and this was at like 7 am on black friday. huhlick me.)
had 3 people waiting outside at 430, and about fifty filed in when we opened the doors at five. other than a couple of spurts here and there, we were mostly slow all day, which gave us a ton of time to just hang out and giggle and chat and give each other a hard time.
me over the radio: wow. we've sold exactly $4444.00 in digital pherto... futug.... fertrog... cameras.
liz over the radio: okay, porky pig.
