Re: Idea of fun?
Well I am exaggerating though I have messaged people and have them start that stupid suicide talk like 2 lines into the conversation..

Re: Idea of fun?
ugh.

lol... i know what you mean, though, you want to be there for someone, but AALLL THEY TAAALK ABOOOOUT is how much life sucks, how much they're suffering, etc. i try to be there for them as much as possible, but eventually such negativity has a tendency to push people away..

which is why i worry sometimes about posting such doom and gloom in my journal...

Re: Idea of fun?
Ok first off even if you did post stuff like that in your journal (which you don't), people have complete free will on whether they read it or not..I think a journal is the only place where anyone can whine and get away with it (which is why I do)..
Some people really do need therapy and they need to look beyond poor souls they catch online on ims at 1 in the morning for mental help LOL
It was getting to the point where I almost felt like asking for financial compensation..
;-D
And what was really stupid is most of them, as soon as they got a boyfriend, suddenly they never talked to me anymore, as if all I was good for was to talk about how much their life sucked and now that their life didn't suck, they didn't want to talk to me.. Although by that time I was just glad to have them go away (it's just the principle of the thing! hehe)
Wow this is a dang long reply.. maybe I just should have made this a post

Re: Idea of fun?
lol - that's completely how i feel. it's THEIR journal, they're free to do whatever they want with it, and i'm free to read it and partake or not.

granted, i'm not really discriminating at this point, i hardly have time to read anyone's journal ;)

lol - naw, post all you want, i don't mind!

Re: Idea of fun?
Most friends realize that you have a life, I mean I only have a few friends and it takes up hours to keep up with everyone, but I love doing it. I can only imagine how hard it must be for people with tons of buddies, aps! One time I tried to keep up with a friends' friends list (because we had a lot of mutual friends and thensome at the time) and couldn't :-0
And quite honestly, sometimes it's hard to find things to say to people.. it's interesting (what they say) but I never know what to add to it.
And I'm sure all your buds gab with ya just fine over the aims and yahoo mess programs. I need to email Ericka at her hotmail addy but I'm so tired.

Re: Idea of fun?
*nod* i had almost 170 people on my aubreystar account when i switched over, and less than half followed me (made me feel loved, since it was an open invitation *rolls eyes*), and then i've gained a few since i've been here.. there's only a few people that i keep up with on a regular basis...

Re: Idea of fun?
it's really difficult.. and actually with me, it helps (even though sometimes it makes me bored) that some don't really post very often.. and some post only during weekdays..
...on the other hand, sometimes I want to shake the monitor and scream SOMEBODY POST!! THose are usually the days when I start posting over and over LOL

Im glad though that I was one of the people that followed you, your journal is the only thing keeping me sane on some days, I can always count on you with a funny/interesting/touching email..

LOL when I was little (I can't believe I'm saying this) I used to eat cat food..probably more than actual human food eheh
I was the reason why it is a good idea to supervise children, they get into the pet food when you aren't looking. My mom would always say "I can't believe Friskie eats so much, I just filled this bowl up!"
