One of my new favoritest songs

I once knew a girl
In the years of my youth
With eyes like the summer
All beauty and truth
In the morning I fled
Left a note and it read
Someday you will be loved.

I cannot pretend that I felt any regret
Cause each broken heart will eventually mend
As the blood runs red down the needle and thread
Someday you will be loved

You'll be loved you'll be loved
Like you never have known
The memories of me
Will seem more like bad dreams
Just a series of blurs
Like I never occurred
Someday you will be loved

You may feel alone when you're falling asleep
And everytime tears roll down your cheeks
But I know your heart belongs to someone you've yet to meet
Someday you will be loved

Death Cab for Cutie - Someday You Will Be Loved

Finally getting a chance to dink with the flute. I still have no idea where to put my fingers, but at least sound comes out of it instantly when I blow on it, which is an improvement, indeed.

Hung out with the ever beautiful Jessalyn after having lunch with the bro as he dropped his student application off at Clark. Bought four scarves at Old Navy on clearance for 23 cents each, a pair of clearance man pants for $7 and a funky shirt for $5. Almost bought a beany for 47 cents, but it made my skull look incredibly small while it made my face look incredibly big. Um, pass.

Found out that the father of my best friend throughout high school had a stroke on Saturday and will not make it. He was ancient when I was a teenager and I haven't seen him for thirteen years, but this makes me greatly sad.

Now that my hair is growing out and is chin length again, it makes me miss having really short hair. So... very hard not to hack it all off again. Maybe for summer. This is pretty much what it looks like now.

Um... that's all to report, really. Any questions?

When I first picked up the flute, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to hold the damn thing. Now I can't figure out people who can't figure out how to hold the damn thing - it feels like nature! Albeit, somewhat abnormal nature these days, since I turned into a piccolo player, so the flute feels HUGE...

I finally looked up how to hold it, and I'm trying to print out a chart that gives me the different notes, but I'm having... technical issues that are causing me to want to throw my printer out of a 2nd story window.

Tradeja - one of my favorite poems
I Loved You

I loved you; and perhaps I love you still,
The flame, perhaps, is not extinguished; yet
It burns so quietly within my soul,
No longer should you feel distressed by it.
Silently and hopelessly I loved you,
At times too jealous and at times too shy.
God grant you find another who will love you
As tenderly and truthfully as I.
