I am constantly getting yelled at because I supposedly talk too damn fast. It ends up being almost like a secret language between my brother and I, whenever we're both extremely excited about something, no one can understand what the hell we're saying. Until we get too excited and start leaving out important parts of the sentences.

Jessie: She was on the beach and she was WEARING!

My old stupid party trick was reciting the words to this song in less than a minute.

My record? I think it was 51 seconds. Considering how fast Yakko sings it and that the video goes on for a minute and fifty seconds, you can bow before my speech prowess now. Not that I can do it anymore, mind you. Now, it's all I can do to remember the lyrics.

Am so FRUSTRATED, as I've been so freaking excited all week to go to band practice. It was cancelled yesterday, so I stuffed some things for Ben and Larrissa into my backpack for my journey.... and then got two tests back in ear training. I received a 75% on one and a 65% on the other, and have a midterm in that class (as well as music theory) tomorrow morning. Fuckityfuck. I also received my first Spanish tests back, and received a 56% on written and a 60% on oral. Considering I will have only three tests the entire quarter, I'm ska-REWED unless I buckle down and start studying. REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION REPETITION. oY. I mean, hell, I have been studying, but apparently not the right things. I also have my first piano playing test on Monday, but I'm not quite as worried about that.

So, instead of going and hanging out with my beloved band members (who I miss SO FREAKING MUCH, it keels me a little inside), I am home attempting to shove downward intervals and harmonic progression into my skull. For you other musicians on my flist, tomorrow's test will involve intervals up to P5, melodic dictation (he plays a song and we have to write it on a staff), rhythmic dictation (plays a song and we write the proper note lengths down), and harmonic dictation (he plays chords in all sorts of ways and we have to put down if it's a I, IV, or V chord and what inversion it's in.) Thankfully, no sight singing will be involved, which is the one thing that stresses me the HELL out more than any of the others.

Saw Stranger than Fiction last night, and LOVEDED it. Wasn't as much of a comedy as I thought it would be, but I adored the hell out of it anyway. I have never been much of a Will Farrell fan, but saw him recently in this movie, as well as Taledega Nights, which I had refused to see when it initially came out. But I laffed. And laffed. Even though he used his George Bush voice through it all. And now I love to quote it. "... Baby Jesus in your little ghostly crib..."

So, Bennage, I'm sorry I missed practice. Look at it this way: mama's got some gas, so I wouldn't have been fun to hang out with in an enclosed space, anyway.

Although I think that Animaniacs song is really fun and impressive, it's kind of odd that he randomly points out Transylvania and Borneo, considering neither is its own nation. Transylvania, as far as I understand, is either a region or a province in Romania (or maybe both), while Borneo is an island in Indonesia. Oh, and he forgot all of the Oceania islands (except Papua New Guinea)!!

I loved Stranger than Fiction sooooo much....the one scene with Dustin Hoffman where he was trying to figure out the story had me dying with laughter, 'cause I saw my lit-nerd future in that man. :-P

Ha ha ha! Tom and I do that. We will only say partial words and no one has any clue what we're saying, but we understand perfectly. I don't even realize we do it anymore.

I can say the 50 states in alphabetical order... my record was 13.5 seconds... long ago and far away.

It was from an episode of Animaniacs where they were hanging out with Jerry Lewis or some guy like that, and they put him into an Indiana Jones type skit. Something bad was about to happen, and they said "Use your whip!" and he replied, "but it's a not-working whip!"

My brother and I laffed and laffed until we cried, and to this day, it's still an inside joke with us.

And it's not bizarre at all, I love it when people find me randomly! :D

And I like cake. Without raisins, please.
