Back to back, sacroiliac?

Embed me a youtube.com video of what you're listening to these days. Pretty please? Send me some funtastic, wonderful stuff, yo.

So very VERY very tired, I could sleep easily - even after a 20 oz coffee, a giant cup of spicy good earth tea, a sugar-free Wired, and a can of diet dr. pepper. Only an hour left until I have to leave for work, and the livingroom almost looks worse than when I started, and the homework won't do itself. (dumb homework.)

Whenever I listen to Bang Tango now, I always think of the evening I discovered how short rock stars are. It was around '99 or so, and I went down to the Mason Jar in Phoenix to see Pretty Boy Floyd, Bang Tango, Bulletboys, and Enuff Z'Nuff play. I can't remember who I was watching on stage, but I glanced to my right and saw Joe LeSte. I had to do a double take, because WTF, mate, I'm like a foot taller than him! Okay, maybe not a FOOT, but... quite taller, and I'm 5'7" (though I think this was back when I wore VERY tall shoes a lot...) I was flabberghasted and didn't know what to say to him, so I just tapped him on the shoulder and muttered "I'm very proud of you." He, of course, looked at me and laughed "Proud? Whatever for?" I can't remember what I responded, maybe something to the effect that he had been around so long and was still staying the course.

But to make a short story long, I remember seeing members of the other bands roaming around and realizing I was either as tall as, or taller than, the majority of them. The only exception were a couple of the PBF boys.

Aaaand, that's the end of my pointless story. Apparently, I'm a giant in some circles.

Well. He's not shorter than everyone.

I have no real YouTube stuff for you. All I listen to is Butch right now. ;)

Rockin' the Bang Tango! I just stumbled across them and a bunch of other bands I hadn't listened to in 15 years when I was building a roadtripping playlist of 80's hair metal. Bang Tango, Manowar, Faster Pussycat, Kix, LA Guns, Hanoi Rocks, Dangerous Toys... all the timeless classics! ;-)

I WILL REFRAIN FROM POSTING MORE BEN FOLDS. Unless you want more Ben Folds. And then I will SO post more Ben Folds.

As it is, I will be on the hunt for some Fiona Apple and The White Stripes when I get home tonight, along with some other stuff perhaps :D YAY MUSIC.

I'm also going to listen/watch the videos you posted earlier that I couldn't since I'm at work :)

Re: I'm ashamed but....
I'm with you! I hear everyone making jokes about how all the lame poser kids these days are listening to Fall Out Boy, and it stings a little! But screw'em... I like 3 or 4 FOB songs. :-)

They're especially good to listen to when you're jogging. Probably. Maybe I'll actually jog some day and find out. They're on the jogging playlist, at least.

Bang you say?
I've often used the line "taller than Dio" to describe myself, him being 5'4" and just 1 inch shorter, but no less mightier, than I. Moving on to the "bang" part of this reply, if Bang is what you seek, seek Boston's own Bang Camaro!

Only in Boston could a band have a choir... an 30+ regular members.

you've probably heard this because it's pretty popular right now but I am SO hooked.

And for something slightly more upbeat, I really love this song:

That one is almost guaranteed to put you in a good mood. Holy smokes it's catchy.

They're "Boston" by Augustana and "Son's Gonna Rise" by Citizen Cope. If you like the second one, you should also hear his song "Bullet and a Target". :-)

Ok, first one is the most played song in my iPod for this week. Sorry it is in Spanish, but it does have half of the chorus sang in English. Love how much this guys pay tribute to the 80's

This one would sum up most of the goth metal I listen to, this song rocks shame the video is utter crap:

And lastly, an opening to an anime that has just been released and it's quite interesting, loved the opening theme the very moment I watched the first episode:
