Neat! I love the old loony tunes!

So much so, that now I'm running late... ::dashes off!::

oh mannnn, that second one was my favorite when I was little!

I also loved the ones with like..the tour inside some store and there was a person narrating or someone giving the tour to a bunch of mice. and he'd mention the rubber band and it'd be a whole bunch of rubber bands playing instruments. and all kinds of puns like that. Books and magazines coming alive. I can't remember any thing to search on though!

HASAN CHOP!
I think some of these went away due to PC stuff but others I really do miss. I know Cartoon network has Boomerang but I don't get that. I really like the scond one because not only was it great technically but it also le your imagination work too.

Despite the disappearance of Merry Melodies from most of TV they still are being marked to kids, sometimes I wonder if kids today even know about tweety except that they think its cute.

I also know that so much of what I see in them now, I get SO much more than when I was a kid and watching them. They truly were written for adults.

Yeah but I think its still better than the junk thats on today. I think it had something to do with the times too. You could still watch them as a kid and you didn't get the feeling you were missing something or that you just saw or heard something you shouldn't have. Perhaps it was the writing too, which I think was greatly better.

And the animation is practically flawless. That's why I was infinitely more of a WB fan than I was of a Hannah Barbara fan. With THOSE cartoons, it was as if they took the same cookie cutter to make different characters, just changed names and colors and maybe height, a'la Fred and Barney, Yogi and BooBoo, etc.
