Look, man, we've got to keep in TOUCH.

I haven't felt like updating in any forum or responding lately, and for that, I apologize. Know that things are going well, I'm in incredibly good spirits, and... yup, that's about it. I came to the realization that I smile a LOT more lately. I'm incredibly thankful for that.

I'm poor beyond words atm, there's bills to pay, and I think I can pay... one. Just so - UGH - from wage garnishment and catching up. I have finally accomplished remembering exactly what all came through my account as an automatic withdrawal and quit it, to help me to get caught up from all the many surprises that happened the last few months. I'll get caught up again. My income outweighs my out-go, it's just all the durned overdrawn mabobbers that is killing me. Last month, both Netflix and World of Warcraft cost me fifty bucks a piece. Ouch, indeed.

Hated to spend the money, but got my hairs cut (it'd been four months and my mullet was really and truly Evil) and bought new shoes. The old shoes had gotten to the point where they were tattered and torn on the inside and were causing my feet to cramp and spasm by the end of my work week, so it was a necessary evil.

Working on staying up a few more hours today and tomorrow in order to turn my sleeping schedule around for next week.

Am reading Brightly Burning by Mercedes Lackey.

Yup, that's it.

Sounds like you can use some good luck!

I hope things get easier/better for you real soon.

It's only financially where it's sucking, but I .. oddly don't even really feel the stress from that. My emotions and spirits are REALLY FREAKING GOOD which is almost 180 from how creepy they were getting six months ago.

I'll take it :D

I'm glad to hear that.

So many people seem to get depressed when in similar situations. Me included.

I've read that. I found I like Mercedes Lackey and her stories in that world, though she's really not that great a writer --- I want to edit it as I go. But the stories are good enough to keep me coming back.

I've had to get downright militant about keeping track of things in GnuCash, since many of my transactions are for gasoline, and a lot of stations don't take the card as debit half the time and when I run it as credit it shows up as a $1 hold until it actually clears. Same with stuff that goes out as an ACH debit, which actually doesn't show up as pending, just as paid 2 days later. (This is why I found it irritating the first month I had car insurance and Safeco insisted on doing an ACH debit. I got off of that as soon as I could, unfortunately it means making manual payments since you can't do automatic debit via debit card.)

You may also wish to change banks to one that actually knows how to decline transactions when the funds aren't there. Silly that some banks don't, and think they are doing you a favor...
