Consider this - a three act mouthwash.

Set up appointments to get my gums ripped at (dentist) and my girlie bits prodded (doctor) as I finally have coverage for the first time in almost five years. I haven't received any information about vision yet, and methinks that I need that the most. I feel silly saying, "Sorry, I can't see what you're trying to show me, I have my glasses on." Finding a doctor was a bitch, too, as whenever I tried to call a number in the locator, it was a number for a VASTLY different location (the offices having moved and the information not being updated) or completely wrong numbers for different parts of their company (one resulted in billing for a hospital that had nothing to do with the doctor listed.) The dentist will be friday at 11 am (SKEERED!) and doctor Tuesday at 10 am (sorta skeered, but dreading the usual "well, you need to lose weight - DOY!" comments I get when seeing doctors.)

So beyond excited that it's all autumny now.

My Doctor is married to my Dentist. They share an office building. If only they had kids that had offices with them specializing in vision and glasses there too!

It's a pain in the @ss to find things you need in an area you are new to. I know your pain. To me it's easier getting the procedures because that is over much quicker.

I hope things turn out OK.

It's so very sad that I've lived here for 4 1/2 years and don't know where anything is that isn't between here and my work. I feel like an ass when I have no clue, but then explain that I moved here from Phoenix (a VERY well plotted city, very logically built street wise) to here, where there's like 3 different 37 avenues, and they're all NE and and and.... couple that lack of knowledge with anxiety and you get a fine mess.

Thankfully, I walk past the dental place to go to/from work, I would be able to jog to the place if need be. Granted, I would be weezing for hours afterwards, but it could be done ^_^

Sounds like Austin with all their Barton roads!

They also can have up to 3 names for the same road there.

I know that pain too!

And then there's Coit Road in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, which has different numbering on different sides of the street in places.

I hope all goes well. The dentist is so scary unless you luck out with a nice one. I love that icon too.

My dentist building is an awesome place to go - first of all, it's half a block from my house! Everyone there is beyond nice, I didn't have to pay a red cent for my wisdom teeth removal and deep gum cleaning, and get gift cards whenever I refer someone :)
