Sad news is that today was my last day with my personal trainer, Jeffrey. I adored him, I did. Great fun, he is. Talking like Yoda, I seem to be. We did a lower body circuit (always where I've carried my weight), stretching, and abs. He suggested that I try to come in 6 days a week and alternate days: a day of one hour of cardio, a day of half hour cardio + upper body, a day of one hour cardio, a day of half hour cardio + lower body, rinse, repeat. I plan on taking classes - especially the dance and yoga - once my general core strength and stamina gets up. I had gone in two days after the brutal upper body workout to do it again - I managed much more out of my abs, and my arms feel a million times better for it.

Happy news is that I seem to have dropped about 2 lbs in the last week, even though I've been eating like a sumo. Imagine if I can actually get myself to eating better, too? Oh em gee.

I so badly want to be a healthier human being.

Yay for healthy humans!!! I'm always pleased when I hear about people doing good things for their bodies and theirselves! themselves? i dont know

I'm pretty open, though its nap time soon. (I wish it was already nap time, uughh)
I think I told Joel I'm going to the gym this evening. If you felt like seeing a new gym you could come as my guest!! (exciting prospect eh?)

Are you gym-ing tomorrow, too? I went for 2 hours already today - not that more gym-ing would necessarily be a bad thing. I'm totally game for tomorrow, whether we're gym-ing or not!

I wont go two days in a row but i could go tomorrow instead of today. but I dont go until Joel gets home. (laurel HATES the gym and will not go)
or i could just go tonight and we could do something else tomorrow.

wow, your trainer did better n my trainer, at least in the advice department. :(

However, I talked to a few people and I think I've got it straightened out.

I love yoga!

I have been doing yoga on my own since I was a teen.

I took some classes in the UK and enjoyed it.

I like traditional Hatha Yoga, which is a holistic yogic path, including moral disciplines, physical exercises (postures) and breath control, and meditation.

I like the schedual he gave you, but...6 days!? Yikes. That takes dedication. Hey, I've been to the gym recently, as you might remember, and I just want to wish you well!

Well it will be nice to have someone else to go with on occasion. Hopefully we can go together next week if you would like?
It feels a little weird now that its nearing a week since I've even been to the gym!
Hope that doesn't make it too rough once I do end up going?
