I'm amazed at how high I am on this comment list.

Dreamwidth is a LJ clone. There are a number of people, from what I can tell, are disastified by how things are being run at LJ. People upset with how 6apart handled things.. the fact that LJ was bought by a russian company. There's a perception that LJ has just gone down hill since Brad gave over control to someone else.

In all fairness.. LJ is 10 years old.. and hasn't had any significant improvements to the UI in those 10 years. The market is just itching for something new.. and I don't mean facebook or myspace.. Something fresh.. something different.. 'BETTER'
