So much for mild Pacific Northwest summer. It's also the second summer in a rooooo w (cat on keyboard) that Bacci has insisted MASSIVELY that she gets tremendous pets, hugs, cuddles, and lap sleepings during the most miserable weather.

Almost done with the complete series of "Moonlight" that Lori loaned me as homework, I will be then moving onto "Dresden Files".

There is sushi in my near future, and for this, I am happy. I'm just sad that I can't teleport to the air conditioned restaurant, instead of go through the motion of getting dressed, and going outside into humid lava armpit air. So very flipping tired, too, though I had plenty of sleep the last couple of nights.

Dreamed last night that I was getting married. I wasn't in love with the groom, but in my dream I had always wanted to be a bride and always wanted to have a giant, beautiful wedding, and was willing to go through whatever I needed to in order to get it. In Real Life(tm), I couldn't care less if I ever wed, and have decided that if I ever take the leap, I want to do something low key, like a potluck in the woods in autumn.

Greatly looking forward to the week I have off at the end of August. I think I'm getting to the point where my job bores me again, which is so not good.

Jim Butcher is a great author. we own most of the Dresden and Codex Alera (more classic fantasy style) series. I'm actually in the middle of going through the Alera books for the umpteenth time :)

I just moved to the Coos Bay area, and I'd say that this is a mild summer! Of course, I've only been here a few weeks and I'm used to Florida... So far, this Oregon summer is not too different from some of my Florida winters.

I'd say to come visit (and you are welcome!) but, it is pretty far from where you are.
