R.I.P. Ken Ober. You were a great part of my household in the late 80s.

I wonder why LJ hasn't implemented a feature similiar to the 'Like' feature on facebook.

It seems like that would be useful, allowing people to provide feedback as to who likes a post and who doesn't like it. Heck, simply knowing that someone's read the post is useful.

what do I know? Users don't like change. And I remember all of the people were against 'Ads' because it made LJ more like facebook and myspace.

The whole "like button" thing also gives me the opportunity to show people that I saw a particular post and enjoyed reading it, though I don't have anything of quality to respond with.

Which is quite often.

I also know that Ken Ober died on the 15th, so it's been quite awhile, but I just found out today. I used to get all my news from reading my friends page, but since I've been away from LJ...
